DC 171 Beads of courage

Beads of courage... beads for children with a chronicle disease to show how much courage they have. When they are visiting doctors, hospitals etc. Besides that I think they have a lot of courage, because they look or behave different then other 'normal' childeren. The older they get the more courage they need to be themselfs.
Our daughter is suffering the muscle dystrofy Duchenne.  Normally only boys suffer this disease, and is very rare for girls to have this.

I made this ZIA for al the children suffering this disease. Besides that my inspiration is Duchenne Heroes. A mountainbike tour, where mountainbikers, bike about 700 KM, 7 days long, throug 4 countries (France, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands), just for 1 goal : raising money to donate for research finding a medicine against duchenne.
Doing such a mountainbike tour needs a lot of courage too, so to all the Heroes, and specially for my husband Rob, and son Sander, I dedicate this beads of courage to you...
Thank you for biking and fighting against Duchenne.
