Het is weer de eerste maandag van de maand, dus tijd voor een UMT uitdaging van onze Diva! Het patroontje wat deze week onze focus verdient is Unbatz van Sandy Hunter. Na eerst wat gestoeid te hebben op een klein stukje papier, en in mijn tangle a day calender, ben ik vandaag toch maar begonnen met mijn tile. Het is op zich een grappige tangle, maar ik kan er zelf niet veel mee. Daarom besloot ik ook om niet opzoek gaan naar een string maar een nr in mijn hoofd te pakken en die string zal ik koste wat kost gebruiken. Het werd nr 51. Deze opgezocht op tanglepatterns. Oefff ook niet echt mijn favoriet. Rechte lijnen. Echter om dat het patroontje wordt opgebouw in de eerste stap uit rijen en kolommen, besloot ik om de string lijnen dan maar te gebruiken om mijn patroontje in rijen te verdelen. Dat zag er toch wel leuk uit, vooral omdat de lijnen van verschillende diktes waren. Wat speels in stap 2 de kommetjes verbonden, en dan mijn pen zn gang laten gaan, enyshou en veel tipple toegevoegd, purk in de kommetjes, schaduw, en klaar. Toch weer een hele leuke tile geworden!
First monday of the month, so time for a UMT challenge from our Diva. The focus tangle this month is Unbatz from Sandy Hunter. A cute little tangle, but I just couldn't get the right flow with it. So first some practice time on a piece of scrap paper and my tangle a day calendar. Still not very happy, with it, but hey I did wanted to make this weeks challenge. I took my tile, picked strinh 51 random without looking first, otherwise I would never have picked it (arggg just straight lines). After drawn my string I was quite happy with the string, because the tangle is build out of rows and columns, so my string would be the perfect guide for my rows. And funny to because the stripes are all of a different width, my step one looked a bit wonky, and I love wonky. Hahah. Connecting the little bowls with some curvy lines and the tile already looked much more interesting. Purk in my flower petals, and transforming the connecting lines into enyshou. A lot of tipple, some shading, and ready is my funny but great looking Tile!
